Orlando Veteran's Day Parade -November 12, 2011

Our first parade of the year is the Downtown Orlando Veteran's Day Parade on Novemeber 12.  All Sundancers are welcome to participate.  Those girls that have Sundancers costumes will wear those.  Those girls that did not purchase the costume will wear the Sundancers t shirt and black shorts.  All parents wishing to walk with the group will need to purchase a team t shirt as well.  Please look for more details as they become availaible!

Here are the details from last year's Veteran's Day Parade.  If anything has changed this year, we will let you know.

The Sundancers are number 75 in the parade.  We will line up on Orange Ave between Amelia and Colonial.  The easiest place to park is in the Court House Parking lot.  Tell them you are with the parade.  Some people did not have to pay to park, some did.  The girls should be there at 10am for a 11am start time.  Please be sure to pick your Sundancers up at the end of the parade in a timely manner.  The girls will not be allowed to walk to meet you, so please come to us.

All Sundancers that purchased the Sundancer costume will wear that for the parade.  Those that did not will wear a Sundancers T shirt (Yellow) and black shorts or pants. Any parent wishing to march with the group must purchase and wear the yellow Sundancer T Shirt .  All Sundancers must wear their hair up neatly and safe twirling or tennis shoes.   Please remember no jewelry, tattoos or heavy make up.

This parade is televised, so please look professional and use your biggest smile!!

St. Cloud Christmas Parade- December 3, 2011
All Sundancers are invited to participate in this parade through Downtown St. Cloud on Saturday, December 3rd. This is a fun parade because it is the closest to the Lake Nona area!  The girls need to be in line at the St. Cloud lakefront at 9am. The easiest way to find the lakefront is to take Narcoossee Road towards St. Cloud and then turn right onto Rummel Road. Parking is difficult. You will have to park on one of the side streets by the lakefront and walk to our position on Lakefront Rd. We will not know our number to the Friday before the parade, so look for us and the other Sundancers. Those Sundancers that have purchased a Sundancer costume should wear that costume. If you have not purchased a costume and opted to perform in the shorts and t shirt, please wear your shorts and t shirt to the parade. All Sundancers should wear hair up and light make up. Parents please pick up your Sundancer at the end of the parade route as soon as possible. Parents walking with the group must wear a Sundancer T shirt.

Macy's Parade at Universal Studios December 10,2011  Saturday

This parade is only open to those girls that have bought the Sundancer Costume package and have had some previous twirling experience (summer program or one year of class).  This is a fun fast moving parade.  It is an honor to be ased back and we are super excited about it.

The girls will march through Universal Studios.  We can offer discounted group tickets for everyone in your party.  You may use your season passes.  Order forms for the tickets will be handed out during the Booster Club meeting.  You may pay Grandma Bev for the tickets, but please note what the payment is for.
