Private Lessons

Private lessons are an important part of the Sundancer program for all those girls that are interested in competing as individuals at the twirling competitions.  During a private lesson, a Sundancer will learn and perfect new skills and individual routines.  It is important to start private lessons early and not wait until right before a competition to try and learn a routine. 

The Sundancer staff works as a team.  In many cases, we will rotate lessons or arrange special lessons to ensure that all students get the best training.  Some teachers specialize in certain areas and extra lessons will be arranged.  We are proud of our private lesson program as it has produced many state, regional and this year National winners!!

Private lessons are only an additional $10 per half hour of individual coaching.  You can pay the coach weekly or monthly.  If you are interested in being added to the private lesson schedule please email Miss Lynette at Misslynette@sdtwirlers.com and we will match you with a teacher and a time spot.

Tahlia will be available some Monday nights for extra modeling lessons.  We will keep you informed.

Wednesday(YMCA)   

4:30-6:30pm These grils will be rotated through to make sure each teacher (Lynette, Michele and Alexa.)  Sometimes Tahlia will be there to work on modeling) works with them.  Please let us know when you need to leave early, so we can put your lesson first.  If not please assume you will stay until 6pm.  It is a good practice time!

Extra Lessons 

There will be days added to the schedule to help make up some lost privates or just to get extra help. We are working hard to accomodate all the girls that are interested, but time is limited.  Please know we are doing our best!

Tahlia has been working as a coach for some of the girls in the Kissimmee/St. Cloud area.  She can help clean up and practice the more advanced routines and is very good with teaching the younger kids. 

Other times will be added and teachers are willing to meet in other places and times if needed. Also look for additional times available at Twirl Days and clinics.  We also bring in guess teachers from time to time.
